In Q1 2016, Smartsign continued the company’s international expansion, with the addition of new employees in Denmark, Norway and recently a new Country Sales Manager in Poland.
Our recent investment into new markets has been positively rewarded. The expansion of the team has resulted in increased sales during the first quarter, with a doubling of our revenues in Norway, and our business in Germany growing strongly.
During the past quarter, sales have grown according to expectations and we have been able to continue our international expansion, specifically in Norway, Germany and Poland. Our goal is to further expand our presence into three or four more countries during the second half of this year.
It has been extremely positive to develop and expand this quickly and strategically important that we now have direct presence on several markets. “It is a key element of our growth strategy to spread our business across different markets to get an even and consistent flow of revenues”, says Martin Romanowski, CEO, Smartsign.
In Poland we have seen strong growth over many years and we see real potential for future growth. In order to support this market, Smartsign has previously worked in the polish market with help from local partners, but the company has now employed Piotr Ostaszewski as Country Sales Manager, in order to meet the growing success, ensuring the strongest possible support for Smartsign’s partners.
