Smartsign signs major agreement in Dubai

Through a major business agreement Smartsign has opened up new opportunities on the arabic market. In cooperation with a new partner Smartsign has signed an agreement with Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

After years of preparation and six months of intense negotiation, Smartsign has now, in collaboration with a new partner in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, finally closed the deal –the first on this market.

– We consider this an important entrance to the arabic market, says Dan Arrias, Sales Director International Markets, Smartsign AB,

The agreement includes a large number of screens at the chamber of commerce, screens that both work as information screens and guides leading the way through the building.

– The chamber of commerce is a central location for all companies visiting Dubai in business matters, companies that therefore are exposed to our technology. This will give us a chance to expand in this market, says Dan Arrias. I also think our unique guide function was a determinant that sealed the deal.

The chamber of commerce in Dubai has installed 37 screens with information and guide function from NEC.

– The business deal in Dubai is above average for us and at the same time it is a very important door opener in this field, says Dan Arrias. Our aim is to establish our business in Dubai, with agencies and sellers for this important market.
