SPRINGWORKS PREPARES FOR INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN– DECEMBER 2 2016 – Springworks AB develops a cloud-based Connected Car platform, SPARK for mobile operators and service providers in the automotive industry. Telia Company is the first operator to launch a service based on SPARK and Springworks are working with mobile operators primarily in Europe to have SPARK based services launched in other countries than Nordics and Baltics.

Today Springworks announces three significant recruitments in order to prepare the company for rapid international expansion:

Jörgen Gullbrandson has joined Springworks as CFO. His career includes 16 years of experience as CFO at BBDO, Glocalnet, Universum and Chimney.

Petter Silfver has joined Springworks as Head of Product Design. His previous roles include Head of Product Design at Doberman, Experience Design Director at R/GA and Lead Interaction Designer at Mobiento. Petter lectures at Hyper Island and Berghs and has been awarded several times in Cannes for his user experience design and product strategy work on amongst others Volvo’s connected car solution Volvo On Call.

Fredrik Åhlberg is the new Chairman of the Board at Springworks and brings extensive relevant experience from companies like Studios King, e-Bay Europe, Tradera and Tele2 Czech Republic. Fredrik serves at the boards of Svenska Spel, Stillfront Group and Virtusize.
