Lumen Behavior welcomes Shimeng Zhou to our team!

We are so happy to welcome Shimeng to our team! Shimeng is passionate about sustainability, gender, social justice, urbanism and mobility. Before joining Lumen Behavior, Shimeng worked for the National Council of Swedish Youth Organizations (LSU) as the Swedish Youth Delegate to the 2015 UN Climate Change Conference in Paris (COP21), where her main tasks involved advocacy, outreach, and tracking international climate change policy.

Having also been a trainee at the Permanent Mission of Sweden to the United Nations in New York, she has ample experience from the UN system, the Government Offices of Sweden and civil society, largely specializing in sustainable development, gender and environment, and climate diplomacy. She has also been a board member at the Swedish Association of International Affairs and the Uppsala Association of International Affairs.

Shimeng holds a B.Sc. in Political Sciences from Uppsala University, and a M.Sc. in Nature, Society and Environmental Policy from the University of Oxford. She has also studied in Beijing and Paris.
