Media Invitation: 2009 World Water Week in Stockholm, August 16-22

The 2009 World Water Week in Stockholm is the leading annual meeting place in water-related issues for experts, opinion leaders, and decision makers. 2,500 participants from over 130 countries and 170 organisations are expected. The conference will be held at Stockholm International Fairs (Stockholmsmässan), August 16-22.

Press Registration and Services
Press accreditation for free registration is available to journalists working with legitimate media. A fully staffed press room will be available to accredited journalists.

Accredited Media must register for the week using the Press Registration form available at www.worldwaterweek.org/media. Please note that Press Registration does NOT cover transportation, accommodation, food, or any other personal or travel expenses.

Press Kit Coming Soon!
A complete Press Kit will be sent in early August that will provide essential information to help cover the Week. This includes: story ideas, backgrounders and statistics, top speakers, officials and experts for interview, the latest list of all media events, launches and agreements, and available media services. Can't Make it to the Conference?
SIWI will post news releases coming from the the World Water Week and its convenors on www.worldwaterweek.org/media. High and low resolution images, video and further resources will also be available. A daily bulletin of highlighted releases will be sent out at the end each of day to help you follow the action.
