SUP46 connected to Internet backbone with up to 100Gb/s

SUP46 effectively gains unlimited connectivity via a direct connection to the core of the Internet. The startup hub has, through collaboration with TeliaSonera International Carrier (TSIC) and Cisco Systems, been connected directly to the global backbone with a staggering 100Gb/s.

SUP46 gets direct access to a 100Gb/s backbone router at the core of TSIC’s global network. The initiative is effectively turning their venue in central Stockholm into a high-capacity Internet PoP (Point-of-Presence), thanks to TSIC owning and operating a top-two ranked Global IP backbone and a new generation Cisco ASR 9xx series router.

- As one of the leading startup hubs in Europe we know how critical a great IT environment is, we are therefore very excited to be able to offer our members what might actually be the fastest workplace connection in the world. We are very happy that Telia and Cisco saw as the obvious partner for this and look forward to seeing how it will affect our members, says Jessica Stark, CEO & Co-Founder of SUP46.
