Årets bästa evenemang!
SWEDEN, (18th December, 2015) – Having fought off strong competition from some of this year’s hottest live acts, today Ticketmaster Sweden is happy to announce that Foo Fighters have been crowned Ticket of the Year 2015!
Foo Fightershave had a cracking year, in more ways than just musically. After front man Dave Grohl broke his leg forcing the band to pull out of their headline spot Glastonbury; there is no surprise that this show was a winner among live entertainment fans.
Second place for the Sweden Ticket of the Year went to One Direction after this year’s shock departure of band member, Zayn Malik and the announcement that the band would be taking a hiatus after their world tour.
Metallica take third place after their short four date tour of Europe, including one night in Gothenburg.
The Aussie rockers AC/DC have taken the fourth spot for the Sweden Ticket of the Year 2015, after their 28 date tour of Europe in support of the group’s 16th studio album, Rock or Bust.
Sitting in fifth place is the wild pop, rock and electro festival Way Out West, famous for its after-hours gigs at various venues around the city of Gothenburg.
Ticketmaster polled its 85 million live entertainment fans across its database to discover who put on the greatest shows this year, as part of the Ticketmaster’s Ticket of the Year 2015. This vote was all about giving a voice to the Ticketmaster fan and a chance to shout about what their favourite live event of 2015 was.
