As a world leader, it’s not just important that our system meets high safety standards, but that it is also available in the absolute best, tried, and tested surface treatments available, particularly in hot zinc, otherwise known as “hot dipped galvanized”. 

Josephine Granell, Product Manager Automation and Robotics at Troax AB, explains:

“With galvanization you get exceptional corrosion protection and a coating which can tolerate high levels of mechanical stress. In damp environments, unheated premises or for outdoor use, this is the best option as well as the most commonly used method for long-term corrosion protection because it provides an even and adequate coating on internal and inaccessible surfaces, which powder coated surfaces do not.

“Our solutions have to be adaptable for all types of environments and customer requirements, and since we at Troax want to continue to create freedom of choice in everything we develop it goes without saying that we also want be able to offer it for our surface treatments. Therefore, as of September 2013 we will be offering delivery of galvanized machine guards from stock providing rapid delivery times equal to our standard powder coated materials.

”Our latest innovations -Rapid Fix and Smart Fix-  are two machine safety systems which can be combined or used separately, and which have many “smart solution” features such as various bracket combinations, interchangeable posts and much more.  These two systems and our other solutions are not dependent upon what type of surface treatment is used; all details are adapted and designed to work together.

Surface treatment is only one of the features which help create the all important whole,” concludes Josephine.
