Troax launches unique machine guard safety guide for iPhone

Directives and standards are sometimes hard to interpret, and it is easy to feel unsure about whether the correct sort of machine guard has been selected.

Troax is launching the machine guard industry’s first mobile safety application. A smart application that enables the user to simply and quickly determine the type of machine guard recommended as guidance based on the standard EN ISO 13857-2008 table 2 -High risk.

”This is something that even we have been waiting for, a fantastic tool! The application was developed primarily to give an idea of what machine guard that we recommend for the customer’s situation, in further discussions with us of course,” says Martin Ask, product manager for Automation and Robotic Applications at Troax AB.

”We take safety very seriously, and by being the first in our industry with a mobile safety application also proves that we are responsive to our customers feedback,” concludes Martin.

The application is currently available for iPhone and can be downloaded for free via the Apple Appstore.
