Press release -

English Language Creative Business Writers Course To Be Held In Sigtuna Sweden

In August 2012 Dark Angels, the creative business writers group, will be running a three-day Intensive Foundation course at the beautiful Sigtunastitftelsen conference centre in Sweden’s oldest town, Sigtuna. The course runs from the 15th to the 18th August.

The course is open to English-speakers and writers in Scandinavia. A number of participants from the UK will also attend. The Dark Angels residential Creative Writing in Business courses are all about writing that really connects – writing that inspires, writing that persuades, writing that changes things.

Jamie Jauncey form Dark Angels said 'Why is so much business writing so dull? Why should we expect people to read things that bore them? And how do we get messages across if we don’t engage readers with what we have to say?'

Julian Stubbs, founder of *UP THERE, EVERYWHERE, the global cloud based advertising agency who is helping promote the course said 'A Dark Angels course is for anyone who wants to write better at work. It will help them find a more imaginative and engaging way with words. It will also help them make more powerful connections with their audience.'

Dark Angels students have come from blue chip UK companies and organisations such as Barclays, BP, the BBC and British Airways – and that’s just the Bs. Others come from the consultancy and creative sectors.

Dark Angels is run by three British writers, John Simmons, Stuart Delves and Jamie Jauncey. All three are published creative writers as well as experienced business writers and trainers.

Dark Angels runs regular open courses in the UK and southern Spain. It has also run bespoke courses in Poland, Switzerland and Sweden. Students come from as far afield as Australia and the United States. Dark Angels was started in England in 2004 and now it’s coming to Sweden.
