Follow UltraVasan and VasaStafetten on Saturday

7000 racers are registered for UltraVasan and VasaStafetten that will take place on Saturday August 23rd 2014.  Below we inform you how to track the runners. Our newest addition is GPS tracking!

The previous VasaStafetten’s entry registration record of 514 team (from 2013), was far surpassed this year. To date 544 teams have registered. UltraVasan 90 has 1000 registered runners and UltraVasan 45 has to date 565 entry registrations.

Track runners via GPS
For the first time in the VasaloppsArena’s history, some runners can be tracked by a GPS tracking system. This is similar to the system used in orienteering competitions. There are 15 men and 5 women in UltraVasan 90, along with 10 men and 5 women in UltraVasan 45 that will be equipped with a GPS sending device.  The same applies to 10 men’s teams, 5 ladies’ teams and 5 mixed teams in VasaStafetten. The End patrol will also be equipped with a GPS. Below are links to follow the event by GPS tracking.
