David Crafoord Ergonomidesign's second professor
In May this year David Crafoord was awarded the title professor at the School of Design, Linnaeus University (LNU), Sweden. David is the Director of Product Design at Ergonomidesign and now the company’s second professor. At the School of Design at LNU he tutors master students in design and product design.
– I look forward to bringing my experience from working at Ergonomidesign to Linnaeus University. The design programmes there are highly method intensive, which is how we work at Ergonomidesign too, explains David. On top of that, the undergraduate programmes are the only ones in Sweden with such a strong focus on sustainability. As a designer with a solid human factors background and concerns about the future, creating design that is sustainable is important to me. That also permeates the whole design thinking at Ergonomidesign.
The LNU School of Design is focused on researching and teaching design for the future. It offers Bachelor and Master of Arts specialization programmes in sustainability and design and product design. Learning about design at the school is centered round human factors with a strong emphasis on finding new and different ways to approach and solve design problems.
