65 Michelin Stars Awarded to Catalonia in 2019

At the Michelin Portugal and Spain Gala held last month, a total of 65 Michelin Stars were awarded to 53 restaurants in Catalonia, reaffirming its strength as a gastronomic region.

Barcelona's status as a culinary capital was also reaffirmed with 31 Michelin stars awarded to 23 restaurants within the city.

Within the region of Catalonia, Martín Berasateguii's Lasarte in Barcelona, Jordi Cruz's ABaC in Barcelona and the Roca brothers' El Celler de Can Roca in Girona all bear 3 Michelin stars.
