Salvete! It’s time to put on your dancing shoes as Latino Salsa Thursday is back again at Clarke Quay. Every First Thursday of the month from July to September 2012, join us for three sessions of infectious Latin live music and Salsa dance workshops from 7.30pm – 10pm at Clarke Quay Central Fountain Square. Spice up your Thursday nights as we kick off Latino Salsa Thursday on 5th July 2012 with Arenalina + Guest Artists, who will keep you dancing all night long with their fiery Salsa rhythms. The group’s distinct concoction covers musical influences from commercial Latin Salsa, Latin pop, to Reggaeton and more!
On 2nd August 2012, be charmed by the sultry voice of the talented Angela Vargas, a versatile vocalist who has performed as a lead singer in over 10 cities including Bangkok, Taipei, Seoul and Beijing. Carry on the high with established Colombian vocalist, dancer and choreographer Jaime De Jesús Martínez Miranda who will charm you with his exceptional performances. You will be in for an unforgettable night of Latin musical experience.
Swing along on 6th September 2012 to the catchy Latin beats of JJ Hernandez, a Columbian musician who has been touring internationally from China to Middle East. Dance the night away with Ireson, the much sought after band consisting of Alina Ramirez and Mario Lopez who come together to perform both traditional and latest Latin numbers. Always with a team of very prestigious musicians the two have performed in the many Salsa festivals in Mexico.
