Press release -

<CLARKE QUAY> THE LEGEND OF SOFT TIP DARTS PAUL LIM – THE SINGAPORE SLINGER AT BEER XCHANGE

Singapore, 24 July 2017 – Paul Lim, the first Chinese who hit a perfect 9-dart finish during the Embassy World Darts Championship in 1990; the legendary Singaporean who stood tall in the darts circuit for the past 36 years is making his appearance at Beer Xchange Darts Hospital (BXDH) Program on 26 and 27 August 2017.

Born 25 January 1954 in Singapore, Paul Lim is a professional darts player. He was the first Chinese player to hit a perfect 9-dart finish during the Embassy World Darts Championship, which he achieved in 1990. Paul won £52,000 for his 9-darter, which was £28,000 more than Phil Taylor won for winning the tournament.

Paul’s numerous championships and winnings at France, Hong Kong, Korea, Taipei, PDC World Dartslive Soft Tip, PDC World Cup of Darts, World Soft Darts World Championship, terms him to be the best soft-tip player in the world, even having a dart game programmed with his voice called “Out on a Lim”. His great achievements brought him numerous brand endorsement, with some even out of darts.

Permanently based in Hong Kong, plus his travelling schedule, Paul rarely has a chance to return to Singapore, the country he loves most. But now, under the invitation of Beer Xchange Darts Hospital, Paul is back to meet his fellow Singapore darters; and he might be back on a regular basis in support of BXDH.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

BEER XCHANGE DARTS HOSPITAL (BXDH)

Many a time, the young and new darters are headless, not knowing where to go, who to look for, to

learn darts, to understand darts. Many darts operators are not willing to do such coaching lessons as

it does not make sense to the business profit and loss. Even if there is, the coaching lessons are

always chargeable.

But Beer Xchange makes a dare – to provide coaching at zero cost on a consistent weekly basis, so

that the young and new darters have a place to look forward to, a place that they will not be mock or

outcast. To anyone who have even the slightest interest in darts.

In mid May 2017, BXDH was launched. Within 5 mins after the launch, BXDH received mockery

from several high rating players in Facebook, commenting on BXDH’s instructors as to how

unqualified they were. But they failed to understand the main essence of the coaching. What’s the

point of being a strong player when sharing is not desired? Despite the negativity, BXDH and all its

instructors head on, holding strong to their beliefs.

Another part of BXDH is to invite the Pro Players from different countries into Singapore to meet our

fellow Singapore darters and share their experience. And it will be free for anyone who wish to

attend. Absolutely no registration fee.
