New Logo that exudes Optimism & Growth

Today, Marketing Institute of Singapore (MIS) greets you with the new face, a new identity! Given that MIS has been around for 40 years and has been adapting and evolving with the marketing industry, it is the time we put forth a new face to MIS as a reinforcement of our commitment as the marketing icon in Singapore.

The new logo has a contemporary face that was inspired by the shape of a megaphone and represented by an upward trajectory which represents Growth and Optimism; which reflects the ultimate result of all effective marketing. Whether you see it as a strong signal on a mobile device or the volume being dialed up or simply a bar graph indicating ever stronger results, the new MIS mark projects strength and progress.

With the intention to clearly identify the three distinct functions with MIS, we have refreshed our brand architecture with three different colours. 

MIS exists to:

1. Connect: Representing our mission of Connecting a Community of Marketers.

  Closest to the origin of MIS, this function retains the traditional MIS brand colour.

2. Executive Development: Continuous training, learning & development for executives and professionals.

  The blue colour represents the corporate environment where MIS thrives and excels.

3. Training Centre: The second half of our mission statement – Creating Marketers

   through Quality Education.

  The green colour represents the new future of limitless possibilities for every MIS graduate.

Explaining the reason behind the brand refresh, Mr Tok Lim Hoe, President of MIS, said “Having celebrated our 40th Anniversary, this is the right time for MIS to inject optimism and brand confidence in our members and students. We want this brand new episode to take off with this rebranding exercise. Young or old, every brand is looking to stay connected to its customers – to stay relevant and front of mind. With this brand refresh, we hope to rejuvenate MIS by bringing in higher-value events and courses that are most relevant to this dynamic industry.”
