Press release -

Mobile Challenge in Berlin by Monterosa and Berghs School of Communication.

Berghs School of Communication and Monterosa have joint forces to create the course Mobile First for the diploma education program Interactive Communication at Berghs in Sweden. The examination happens to be the highlight of the course – taking the class of 25 to Berlin to join Mobile Challenge 2013.

This weekend, the Berghs students will have good use for their newly acquired skills within mobile innovation. A number of challenges will be solved in a hackathon-like form, using the Swedish-German start-up Vamos as a case. The results will be presented Sunday the 27th of January for a jury consisting of renowned industry specialists.

- We look forward to create tomorrow’s mobile concepts together with the ambitious Berghs students. The fact that we do this on location in Europe’s start-up Mecka, has a nice feel to the setting. We want to design an education in close relation to the business world, encouraging and inspiring the students to innovation. At the same time, we’re introducing a whole new form of examination. It is with great pleasure that we present the collaboration between Berghs, Lufthansa och Vamos, says Roman Pixell, Head of Mobile Strategy at Monterosa and responsible for the course Mobile First.

Mobile Challenge 2013 will be covered by German and Swedish media; among others, Deutsche Welle will follow the students throughout the entire weekend.

About Mobile First

Early 2013, some 25 Berghs students will gain insights in how to work with innovation in a mobile context. Here, a fundamental understanding is founded for the diversity of the mobile arena and how other channels can be used to cater the needs of the mobile user. The examination form is a 24-hour-long event in Berlin, where the students will solve a number of concrete tasks for the start-up Vamos. http://berghs.se/kurser-utbildningar/
