The new leadership will remain at the helm of the world’s second largest economy in the coming ten years – making difficult and consequential choices when it comes to China’s domestic policies and the Middle Kingdom’s place in the world. How will the rest of us be affected? Tormod C. Endresen is Norway’s ambassador to Singapore. Prior to his arrival in Singapore, he was Consul General in Guangzhou, China. Tormod C. Endresen has previously served at Norway’s Mission to the United Nations in New York, in the Foreign Minister’s Secretariat and as Deputy Director General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Oslo. A lawyer by education, he has also worked at Wiersholm law firm, Oslo.
