The emergence of shale oil and gas in North America may make the USA a net exporter of energy.
What happens if the USA no longer relies on imported oil, but rather
becomes a net exporter of energy? The consequences of such a
development, made possible by the emergence of shale oil and gas in
North America, is being considered across the globe by anyone who takes
an interest in energy markets and their political implications. To help
facilitate a dialogue about these important developments, the Norwegian
Embassy in Singapore, Statoil and DNV support a one-day executive oil
and gas briefing on Global Implications of the Game Changing North American Petroleum Renaissance, jointly organised by Conference Connection and Washington-based Energy Policy Research Foundation (EPRINC).
