EzWills launches improved Will making platform online

Singapore, 8th May 2019 - Making a will in Singapore just got a whole lot easier. EzWills is pleased to announce that it has launched an improved version of its popular Will-making Platform. In October 2018, EzWills (https://ezwills.com.sg) went live and Singaporeans and Singaporean residents were able to make their own Wills online. At that time, EzWills was the only online platform solely dedicated to creating a fully-online Will. It was a very straight-forward simple version, appropriate for most people. Today, EzWills has launched improved functionality to create different versions of a Will for a wider audience.

In the quest to become the best fully online Will maker in Singapore EzWills now offers:

• Three different versions of a Will, ranging from $40 to $100;
• Wills for unmarried cohabiting couples;
• Wills for the LGBT community; and
• Concurrent Wills for those who have an existing overseas Will and want to retain that Will and just make a Will for their Singapore assets

EzWills now provides for the possibility of up to 4 levels of beneficiaries predeceasing the will maker.

In recognition of the high number of foreign-born persons making their Wills online with EzWills, a new feature that has been added to the EzWills platform is the ability to make a concurrent Will, which happens when a Will is made for someone who already has a Will in his or her country of origin wishes and wishes to keep that Will valid. The concurrent Will addresses issues that can occur if the existing foreign Will caters to an estate planning aspect that may be lost if an international Will was made in Singapore. The concurrent Will is made, whilst retaining the existing foreign Will.
