The CWC Group Announces Shortlisted Nominees for the 3rd Annual World Shale Awards 2013
18 October 2013 - Singapore - The CWC Group has announced the shortlisted nominees for the 3rd Annual World
Shale Awards. The winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner hosted at the 4th Annual World Shale Oil
& Gas Summit & Exhibition, which takes place in Houston, Texas from 4
to 7 November 2013.
The shortlisted nominees for each award category are as follows.
The International Pioneer Award, which recognizes a company that is making the most significant progress in shale gas/oil development outside of the United States. The 2013 shortlisted nominees for this award are San Leon Energy, ConocoPhillips and Chevron.
The Technological Innovator Award, distinguishes the technological breakthrough of the year in shale gas/oil exploration and production. The companies shortlisted for this award include Wärtsilä, Halliburton and INFRA Technology.
Community Engagement Leader Award is awarded to a company engaged in the shale gas/oil production value chain that best represents leadership in a community context. This year’s nominees include ANGA (America’s Natural Gas Alliance), Cemig and Consol Energy.
The 3rd Annual World Shale Awards also include a Lifetime Achievement Award, which honours a recipient in recognition of his or her exceptional impact on the shale oil or gas industry.
Winners will be announced on the night of the awards ceremony and gala dinner.
The World Shale Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner will take place on Tuesday, November 5th and are an integral part of the World Shale Oil & Gas Summit and Exhibition taking place between November 4th and 7th at the Hilton Americas Hotel in Houston.
Attendance to the awards ceremony and gala dinner is strictly restricted to the delegates of the World Shale Oil & Gas Summit and Exhibition 2013.
