Women in Tech: Driving Innovation
SINGAPORE, 25 AUGUST 2016 — WOMEN IN TECH (WiT) - A partner event of Slush Singapore and Techventure, is a one-day forum set to shape and inspire innovation in technology by showcasing entrepreneurship and product innovation.
Taking place for the first time in Singapore on 21st September 2016 during Singapore Tech & Innovation Week (SWITCH), WiT brings on stage exciting speakers including heads of products, VC’s, executives from global tech companies and mixed generation entrepreneurs to share their stories of building, creating and marketing the latest products and services in the technology industry. We will hear from next generation start-ups and share their journey in an interactive format that ensures a lively and relevant interaction.
Our high profile line-up includes the best of leaders, the best of women together with the best of technology. We believe that technology is better and more relevant when the whole population is fully represented in the building, creating and marketing of companies and products.
Key Topics
WiT intends to showcase how women are leading the way in many places throughout the tech industry. We will hear how they are doing it and examine diversity as a business case in the world of technology and entrepreneurship. Pushing the boundaries, we will bring on-stage super achievers to share personal stories and insights on product innovation and companies targeted to transform industries and our future.

Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology (SWITCH) is a brand new platform concept in Singapore where complementing tech and innovation events come together to “plug and play”. SWITCH brings together partners in the technology, innovation and enterprise ecosystem in a series of complementary tech events in Singapore.
