Sony extends range of PlayMemories Camera Apps™ with the addition of Portrait Lighting

The range of downloadable camera apps from Sony continues to expand with the launch of ‘Portrait Lighting’. It allows users to easily accentuate people’s faces and take stunning portrait photos by adjusting the contrast and lighting level.

Available to buy from the PlayMemories Camera Apps Store, the app enables user to instantly create the impression that standard indoor portraits have been shot professionally in a studio. Using the app for landscapes adds a luminescent beauty and truly allows the photographer to experiment with their creativity.

Portrait Lighting works in three easy steps. Firstly the user can adjust the lighting level on the subject or the background. Secondly, the composition can be adjusted and finally, both the transformed image and original copy are saved. Simple!
