Sales gamification platform Sparta launches iOS app and scales up with two recruits from Microsoft and Magine

Stockholm, Sweden - September 2016, enterprise sales gamification company Sparta have today announced the immediate availability of an iPhone app to allow their 10,000-strong community of sales professionals to compete and improve on-the-go.

Sparta helps sales organizations drive revenue growth and build stronger sales culture via a powerful gamification solution that taps into what really motivates sales people and helps facilitate coaching, competitions, goal-setting and other sales management initiatives.

Mobile was the obvious next step after signing up almost 200 customers over the past 24 months, many of whom work in the field or want access to their sales campaigns from anywhere, anytime.

James Pember, CEO comments, “Mobile is a no-brainer for us given professional salespeople are always on the go. For us to be able to give our customers the ability to access their campaigns, track their own personal results and tap into the unique features of the phone such as push notifications to drive increased engagement and motivation - is truly exciting.

Sparta have also announced two new recruits, which will help them scale up during 2016. Both recruits have been with the company since the beginning of April.

Firstly, Johanna Fridolfsson is joining Sparta as Head of Customer Success, helping to build out the key account management team and ensure that Sparta’s customers are ultimately successful in using the product to transform their sales organizations. Johanna spent 5 years at Microsoft in a variety of different roles, working together with the company’s enterprise cloud computing customers.

Jonas Martinsson has joined the Engineering team in order to help Sparta build out the mobile product and mobile development team. Jonas has spent the past number of years in iOS development at Magine, and before that working on the Citrix GoToMeeting iOS product.

The opportunity that the mobile platform presents was something that really excited me, and given my passion for behaviour-change products more generally, I think I am the right person for the job.
