77 per cent booked for Nordbygg 2018 – a record interest for the Nordic construction market

The interest in booking a spot at Nordbygg is higher than ever. A full 77 per cent of Nordbygg's rentable space is booked in February 2017. Inwido, Bramsiq and Hultafors are three experienced exhibitors who are investing in Nordbygg 2018.

– During several fairs, we have seen an increased international participation at Nordbygg. More and more exhibitors from outside the Nordics are attracted to the hot market. And more and more Nordic companies see the need to be on site to strengthen and defend their positions, says Peter Söderberg, project manager Nordbygg, Stockholmsmässan.

Sophisticated market
Nordbygg offers an excellent opportunity to show new product launches, since the visitors to the fair give a good indication of what works and what doesn't.
Bemsiq consists of several independent subsidiaries, who in different ways focus on energy efficiency and property automation. The company is an international actor, but the Nordic home market is very important.

– Our Nordic market is sophisticated and advanced. If a launch is successful here, it increases the potential to be a hit in Europe. That is why Nordbygg is one of our most important platforms, says Pär Arvidsson, CEO at Bemsiq.

Well-attended showcases
Hultafors Group have booked a large joint showcase with Tradeport at Nordbygg 2018. The companies offer several well-known brands in clothing, tools and other personal equipment for professional users.

– Nordbygg always attracts a lot of people. The result is well-attended showcases and that is exactly what we want. The goal with Nordbygg is to meet up, and to show our brands and our collections to retailers and end customers, Jessica says.

– Even students find their way here. That is fun and positive. It contributes to the younger generation getting an early introduction to the business, Jessica says.

Effective venue
Nordbygg's size and range of visitors and exhibitors is important also to Inwido, Europe's largest supplier of windows and doors.

– Nordbygg is Nordbygg, it is the largest construction fair in Northern Europe, everybody is here. And Inwido's product portfolio has something for everybody. At Nordbygg, we aim ourselves at professionals, architects, house builders, national builders, builders' merchants and commissioners of tenant housing and apartment buildings, explains Bon-Hee Jones Svensson, Brand Manager Inwido Försäljning AB.
Inwido was very happy with the outcome of the last Nordbygg. Therefore, the company has chosen to book an equal showcase in the same place for Nordbygg 2018. 

– Inwido has customers all over Sweden. Also, our employees are located in several different places. That makes Nordbygg the perfect venue. During a compressed time, we see very many people, it is very effective. 

– Nordbygg is also a very good opportunity to check the demand. We can test prototypes and new ideas in conversations and discussions with clients and partners, says Bon-Hee.
