GastroSummit – the gastronomic forum for the future
On 3-4 September, GastroSummit – a totally new and unique gastronomic forum – will cater to all tastes at Stockholmsmässan. GastroSummit, that can best be described as GastroNord's "smart little sister" and has no comparison in Sweden. News, innovation and the food of the future are on the menu. GastroSummit consists of an inspiratonial section and a seminar section highlighting current industry themes. We promise a high tempo and many surpises. It is at GastroSummit you will hear of it first!
GastroSummit is the new meeting place for the entire Swedish food industry – HoReCa (Hotel, Restaurant & Catering) as well as the grocery trade, food producers, institutional catering, logistics and decision makers.
“GastroSummit is a dynamic platform for trends, movements and social developments in the industry,” says Daniel Fritzdorf, event manager of GastroSummit.
GastroSummit consists of an inspirational section and a seminar section. There is free admission to the inspirational section, which offers meetings, trends, company presentations, food tech start-ups, speaker’s corner and a lively competition zone.
The Summit part of GastroSummit consists of four half-days with a focus on four current themes: sustainability, innovation, health and inspiration & success. A number of big names from the industry will be sharing their expertise and insights with us. Presentations, trends, debates and panel discussions, with quick start-up-pitches that inject some energy. Audience response meters get everyone involved in the debate and the presentations are held at rapid speed – the shortest last just two minutes! There are also short breaks for product tastings.
“We want to create a totally new and inspiring scientific platform in Sweden, one that aims to highlight the most topical issues within gastronomy and food handling,” says Daniel Fritzdorf.
