Preparations for Nordbygg 2020 are in full swing and the goal is at least a big a success as the fair in 2018 was.
– It is a tough and inspiring challenge, since a total of 90 per cent of the visitors in 2018 were positive to the fair and recommended colleagues a visit to Nordbygg, says Peter Söderberg, Project Manager at Nordbygg.
The visitors in 2018 were also clear in saying that they thought that Nordbygg had become even more interesting and relevant compared to previous fairs. Among the success factors was a content that focussed on new technology within the areas of IoT, digitalisation and innovation.
– Naturally, we have listened to this and for next year’s Nordbygg we will increase the fair's investment in new technology solutions that may lift the construction and property industry even further, says Peter Söderberg
Arena for innovations
This will occur at a completely new innovation arena. There, the visitors will meet everything from small start-ups to award-winning architecture, where the choice of material is central. Those nominated for Nordbygg’s gold medal will also show their contributions in the innovation arena. Nordbygg’s gold medal is a competition that rewards the most innovative new products.
An important piece of the puzzle in the Nordbygg mix, not least for regulators and clients, is the investment in an interesting knowledge content. This will of course return in the form of a wide spectrum of seminars on the open stages in the halls.
High exhibitor pressure
Another and completely central piece of the puzzle is of course the exhibition with a unique range and depth to give the visitor a very time-efficient opportunity to scan the market and find new products and contacts. One who agrees with this is Tobias Wallbom. He is the Swedish country manager for the ventilation company Trox Auranor.
– There is no other arena, he says, where you can meet so many people in such a short time.
And the exhibitor pressure is high. Most of the industry leading companies are among the already 700 registered exhibitors, says Peter Söderberg.
