Mirror is the winner of the design award Born Classic

Winner of Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair’s new award – Born Classic - is Mirror, produced by Swedese and designed by Front. The award is a collaboration with the auction house Bukowskis, which form the jury; Eva Seeman, Henrik Åberg, and Jonatan Jahn.

The jury´s motivation:

Starting with a relevant and sustainable production process, Swedese and Front have created a mirror from waste material that has sculptural qualities and a strong character. Produced in a limited edition, the mirror can be a future classic and potentially a collector’s item.

The award goes to a piece of furniture or lighting that has qualities that could make it a design classic of the future. The product has to be designed by a Scandinavian designer or made by a Scandinavian producer.
