Formex is being expanded with yet another area when the new Profile & Promotion by Formex Segment opens in Fall 2013. Visitors will meet strong brand names and leading retailers of gift items and promotional products here.
"It feels really great to welcome a completely new segment to Formex, and the segment will be a good, key complement to the rest of what the fair can offer. This also means that Formex is continuing to take root and consolidate its position as the leading trade fair in the Nordic region," said Event Manager Chicie Lindgren.
"This is going to be an amazing opportunity for exhibitors in the genre to be seen by the dynamic mix of Swedish and international designers, buyers, and media outlets that visit Formex. In addition, Stockholmsmässan is strategically located and it is easy for visitors to travel to the fair," said Lars-Erik Strömberg, Nordic Arena and initiator of Profile & Promotion by Formex.
"I think that this integration with Formex can lead to new, exciting business meetings, and give an energy boost to our branch," said Evert Grahn, CEO of MEC-gruppen AB.
"It is important for the branch to have a fair in Stockholm. As traveling to the fair becomes easier, I think that there are good opportunities for growth and development," said Per Pettersson, CEO of Idépoolen.
The new Profile & Promotion by Formex Segment will be in Victoria Hall in parallel with the 2013 Fall fair. Formex is the Nordic region’s largest meeting place for innovations, business, trends, knowledge, and inspiration in the interior design and gift industry. The fair is held twice a year, with more than 800 exhibitors, 25,000 trade visitors, and 800 media representatives.
