Nordbygg postponed until September 2020

Press release -

Nordbygg postponed until September 2020

After the decision from the Swedish government to limit public gatherings, Nordbygg will be postponed until the end of September 2020 instead of April 21-24 as earlier planned.

Nordbygg is northern Europe’s largest meeting place for the building and construction industry and gathers around 50 000 visitors every other year from the building sector in Sweden, but also from the rest of Scandinavia, The Baltic states and Europe.

– The safety of our exhibitors and visitors is our top priority. We want to give Nordbygg the best conditions to be organized at a later date and Stockholmsmässan is now working to be able to move this gigantic event to the end of September, says Peter Söderberg, Project Manager for Nordbygg.

– It is over 800 exhibitors and around 50 000 visitors who need to make new plans. On top of that comes all the logistics around accomodation, transports, food, beverage and equipment for all these people. A lot of people are affected and we will do our utmost to limit the damage for everyone, says Peter Söderberg.

Stockholmsmässan will return with more detailed information to exhibitors and visitors as soon as possible.
