The promise of creativity in focus at Stockholm Design Talks

During the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair in February 2015, moderators, speakers and panelists from around the world will participate in the Stockholm Design Talks, the Fair's forum for knowledge and discussions concerning design. The theme of the upcoming Stockholm Design Talks is “Tales of Creativity”.

Concepts such as interior design, furniture and design contain in themselves a picture of and a promise of creativity. It is that promise that in large part drives the industry forward. Stockholm Design Talks highlight the theme of creativity from several different angles in interior design, product design, education, etc. We will also hear some very creative people explain how they work.
-   Cecilia Nyberg, Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair Event Manager

Stockholm Design Talks will take place on February 4–7, 2015 in the Fair's new knowledge area in Hall C, which will also house the Design Bar and the Materials Library exhibition. The program will be geared toward architects and interior designers on February 4–5, more toward the industry on February 6 and toward the general public on February 7. Gert Wingårdh (Wingårdhs), Tina North (Conran), Werner Aisslinger (Studio Aisslinger) and Eero Koivisto (Claesson Koivisto Rune) are some of the participating speakers. Moderators include Guy Dittrich, a specialist in hotels and design, and Hanna Nova Beatrice, a design writer and Editor-in-Chief of Residence. The updated program will be available at www.stockholmfurniturefair.com.

Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair is a trade fair that will take place at Stockholmsmässan on February 3–7, 2015. Saturday February 7 will be Public Day, when the Fair will be open to everyone. The whole week is also Stockholm Design Week, with a number of design-related events scheduled all around the city.
