Man suffers serious injuries after car collides with a tree

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision near Wisborough Green.

Officers responded to reports of a vehicle being in collision with a tree on the B2133 Newpound Road, between Wisborough Green and Loxwood, just before 4.20pm on Monday (August 19).

The driver, a man in his 20s, suffered head and spinal injuries and was taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting, London.
