New direct route between Madrid and Gothenburg

Iberia Express is now inaugurating a direct route between Madrid and Gothenburg Landvetter Airport. There will be two flights departing weekly, Sundays and Thursdays, between Gothenburg and the Spanish capital.

- We are very pleased to now be able to offer direct flights to Madrid which we know is a sought-after destination among the travellers. It is also one of top ten priority destinations for the western Swedish co operation Go:Connect consisting of both local businesses and the meeting industry, aiming to increase access to the West Swedish region, says Charlotte Ljunggren, Airport Director at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport.

The future Göteborg Landvetter Airport and Airport City Göteborg are taking shape

In September 2017, Swedavia broke ground on the largest expansion in the history of Göteborg Landvetter Airport. Today, another major step was taken towards what will be the airport of the future and Airport City Göteborg.

Dalecarlian horses move into Göteborg Landvetter Airport

For the sixth straight year, it is time for an exciting new wall of art at Göteborg Landvetter Airport. On Thursday, April 26, Shai Dahan’s nine-metre-long mural, which he painted while spending a week in the terminal, will be inaugurated.

Swedavia signs security service agreement with Securitas for Göteborg Landvetter Airport

Swedevia has signed an agreement with Securitas in providing security services at Göteborg Landvetter Airport starting 1 May 2019. Göteborg Landvetter Airport is Sweden’s second largest airport, with about seven million passengers a year.
