Continued growth in passengers at Swedish airports
The number of passengers at Swedavia´ s eleven airports in Sweden continues to increase. In June 2012 the total number of passengers grew by three percent, compared to the same period last year. Accumulated for the first half of 2012, passenger numbers has increased by five percent to 16.1 million. Passengers in international traffic has grown by six percent to 9.6 million and home increased by five percent to 6.5 million.
In June, 3 million passengers traveled to or from one of the eleven airports. International passengers increased by five percent to two million passengers and domestic traffic showed zero growth at one million passengers.
The number of landings from scheduled and charter flights at Swedavia´ s airports during June was 16 600 which is a decrease of five percent, compared with the corresponding period last year.
