Direct route to Riga from Gothenburg Landvetter

The 1st June, airBaltic starts a direct service between Gothenburg Landvetter Airport and the Latvian capital of Riga. The route was started out as a seasonal in the summer of 2015. airBaltic is now back introducing a full year service operated six departures weekly. airBaltic serves over 60 destinations from its home base in Riga. From every one of these locations, airBaltic offers convenient connections via Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, CIS and the Middle East. In addition, airBaltic also offers direct flights from Tallinn and Vilnius.

Riga has beautiful architecture, a dynamic cultural life and spas well suited for Swedish travelers who want to discover a new exciting capital, says Charlotte Ljunggren, Airport Director at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport.

 The aircraft is a Bombardier Q400Next Gen and the flight time is 1 hour and 40 minutes.
