New direct route to Vienna from Göteborg Landvetter Airport
In the summer of 2017, Austrian Airlines will launch a non-stop service between Göteborg Landvetter Airport and Vienna three times a week. This will be the Austrian carrier’s fourth Scandinavian route, along with Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo.
With the new service to Vienna, it will now be easier for passengers from Göteborg Landvetter to transfer for flights to other destinations in Austria as well as in central and eastern Europe.
“We are happy to be able to offer a non-stop service to Vienna. Right now, this is the route that is most sought after in our region. We see great demand from both leisure travellers and businesses in the region. Both Vienna and Gothenburg are also popular weekend destinations, so we hope to have many new visitors to both cities,” says Charlotte Ljunggren, Airport Director at Göteborg Landvetter Airport.
Departures from Göteborg Landvetter with an Embraer Jet will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
