Swedavia arrange an international innovation challenge

Today Swedavia is launching an international innovation challenge, Swedavia Airport Innovation Challenge 2014. The purpose of the challenge is to create an innovative solution that reduce ground noise in the residential area of Bromma Kyrka, close to Bromma Stockholm Airport.

Swedavia is looking for people who can develop feasible solutions and address the challenge holistically.

The competition is open for everyone from everywhere in the world. Both individuals and teams are welcome.

– We are arranging an innovation challenge that both can reduce ground noise and also can be a positive element in the area for our neighbors. We hope to get many interesting and innovative solutions during this competition, says Jenny Svärd, Environmental and Quality Manager Bromma Stockholm Airport.

– It is very important for us and our neighbors to find the best solution since it will make a difference with positive effects for the area Bromma Kyrka. For Swedavia environmental and climate smart solutions are highly priorited in every step in our development of the airport Bromma Stockholm Airport.  Therefor we expect high quality and a holistic perspective in the winning solution, says Jenny Svärd.

The prize in this competition is 100,000 SEK and the opportunity to see the idea realized at Bromma Stockholm Airport.

Swedavia Airport Innovation Challenge 2014 is arranged in co-operation with Student Competitions. The challenge is supported by Vinnova.
