Information regarding Swedese policies during Coronavirus covid-19
Due to the fact that the Coronavirus covid-19 has been classified as a pandemic, we wish to inform you about the current situation in our organization and share the guidelines and policies we have decided to follow for now. We will be running our operations as usual, while increasing our preparedness and taking precautionary measures to prevent and ensure the health of our customers and employees. Currently, we have no delivery delays caused by the pandemic. Naturally, this may change in the near future and with this letter of information we would like to state that we will continuously communicate should the situation change.
We are following the development of the spread of Covid-19 closely, and act on the recommendations of the Swedish Public Health Authority and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Today, Swedese's management has carried out a risk assessment among customers, suppliers, staff and other stakeholders. We do this to make sure our production and customer engagement can continue in the best possible way, even in the current situation.
We would like to inform you, as a partner or customer of Swedese, about a number of decisions that the company management has made, in order to continue to produce and deliver furniture in the best possible way. Until further notice, the following guidelines and policies apply:
We allow no visits to Swedese’s factories in Vaggeryd and Äng. We are careful to fulfill our duties and delivery commitments, therefore taking maximum precautions to avoid contamination in our production facilities.
Swedese has imposed a travel ban for all staff and we recommend that personal meetings be exchanged for digital meetings whenever possible.
Our staff will not participate in trade fairs and similar activities involving public gatherings, due to risk of infection.
We hope for your understanding of these decisions and that together we can contribute to the prevention of virus spread as much as possible. As soon as we have the opportunity to change these guidelines and policies, or if the situation in our organization changes in a way that affects our daily operations, we will inform you.
