Hannu Saastamoinen new CEO for Swegon AB

Swegon, market leading producer and supplier of energy efficient ventilation and climate systems and the largest wholly owned company in Investment AB Latour, has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer.

Hannu Saastamoinen will be new CEO when present CEO Mats Holmqvist retires in December 2012. Presently Hannu is CEO and President of Finnish Huurre Group. Swegons’ CEO Mats Holmqvist announced his plans of retiring during the fall of 2012 earlier this year.

Following a thorough search in finding a successor, the Board of Swegon is now pleased to announce Hannu Saastamoinen as new CEO of Swegon AB. – In Hannu we found a person with extensive experience from a similar business who fits well into the corporate culture within the company, says Jan Svensson, Chairman of the board of Swegon and President and CEO of Latour.

Today Hannu is active within Finnish owned Huurre Group, a supplier of total solutions within refrigeration. – With his extensive management experience Hannu is exactly the right person to lead Swegon towards new successes in creating complete system solutions and creating a healthy and energy efficient indoor environment for both humans and environment, Jan Svensson continues.

Hannu Saastamoinen will be on board full time starting January 1, 2013.
