European Spallation Source selects TechniaTranscat as PLM partner

STOCKHOLM, February 17, 2016 – European Spallation Source (ESS), a European multi-disciplinary research centre under construction in Lund, has chosen TechniaTranscat, a subsidiary of Addnode Group, as the PLM partner for their Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) implementation.

European Spallation Source, a next-generation materials research facility using neutrons, will enable new opportunities for researchers in fields as life sciences, energy, environmental technology, cultural heritage and fundamental physics. ESS has chosen a PLM solution based on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform (ENOVIA V6 and CATIA V6) from Dassault Systèmes, enhanced with the Value Components (TVC) from TechniaTranscat. ESS will implement PLM to support the development of the neutron source, related equipment and operation of the facility.
