Award 2017. With a 4-year growth rate of 616 percent, the Munich-based IT company takes 8th place, thus securing its spot in the top ten.

With the Technology Fast 50 Award, Deloitte annually honors Germany's fastest-growing technology companies. Testbirds achieved a growth of exactly 616.81 percent during this period. Both the unique business model and self-developed test automation technology contributed to this growth in revenue. Testbirds is one of the first companies in the world to announce and establish crowdtesting as a new method of software testing. These two unique selling points make this now international startup a pioneer in the industry and a driver of innovation for crowd and cloud based testing methods.

"The award means a lot to us, because it proves that we've achieved great innovation with crowd testing and our expertise in the field of test automation, with which we set ourselves apart from our competition. Our unique business model is receiving ever-increasing attention, which has enabled us to achieve success on a daily basis alongside our passion and energy, as well as satisfied our many customers", says Philipp Benkler, founder and CEO of Testbirds.

Being a Fast 50 Award Winner does not mean that Testbirds can relax. Instead, this prize further motivates the company to uphold its self-imposed commitment to continuously develop and grow. At this year’s keynote speech at the award ceremony Testbirds CEO, Benkler, will present the topic, “Artificial Intelligence” by investigating how: "Artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly important and, in the long run, an integral part of the products of the near future. As testing specialists, we have already recognised this important trend and are working intensively with customers and universities in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Our goal is to meet these new technologies with tailored test procedures and outstanding software at a professional level."
