The TOKYO SKYTREE TOWER managed by TOBU TOWER SKYTREE Co., Ltd. will start to offer a guided SKYTREE TERRACE TOUR for a special experience of the open-air terrace 155 meters high.

From the newly opened terrace, tour participants will be able to enjoy the panoramic view over the tower’s robust steel framework, while feeling fresh breeze coming up from the ground. Professional guide will also give you a direct view of the tower structure components and LED lightning equipment.

Also, on the tower’s 1F Group Floor, a new exhibition area, SKYTREE GALLERY, will be opened, where visitors will get detailed information on the tower structure and other facts of touristic interest.

■1.Special Tickets to SKYTREE TERRACE TOURS

SKYTREE TERRACE TOURS was at first intended only for visitors to the observation deck of TOKYO SKYTREE; however, we received many feedbacks and requests from customers after the announcement of the tour. In response to this, we decided to sell a new type of ticket for visitors who do not enter the observation deck.

Tickets for those wishing to participate only in SKYTREE TERRACE TOURS will be sold at 2,500 yen (incl. tax) and are available for purchase only on the day of their visit.

<Fees> The thick-bordered box below shows the new fee for SKYTREE TERRACE TOURS.

*Both tickets are available for purchase only on the day of visit. (Reservation is not available except specific travel companies.)

<Major Participation Requirements>

・Elementary school students and older (6 years old and older)

*Elementary school students (aged under 12) may join the tour only when accompanied by a person aged over 18.

・Undergo a security check before the tour.

　　　・Leave all your belongings including watch, accessories, cap, etc. in the dedicated locker (free of charge).

・Complete a participation consent form to ensure your compliance with safety instructions.

・Wear a helmet and a safety vest.

・Follow guide’s directions for participation

■2. Schedule for SKYTREE TERRACE TOURS

The schedule for SKYTREE TERRACE TOURS has been decided.

A total of 12 tours will be offered from 13:00 only every weekday, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and specific days.

*The total tour length will be about 50 minutes, including a 20-minute stay at SKYTREE TERRACE.

*Tours will not be offered after Tour ⑦ starting at 16:30 during the period between December 13 (Thu.) and 25 (Tue.). (Tour ⑧ starting at 17:05 and subsequent tours will not be provided.)

Outline of SKYTREE TERACCE TOURS

The SKYTREE TERRACE TOUR provides a visit to the newly opened 155-meter high SKYTREE TERTRACE outside the TOKYO SKYTREE® with a professional guide giving information on the facilities and aerial view.

The SKYTREE TERRACE will offer a comanding view of the central Tokyo city over the overwhelming steel framework. Participants can also get a close view of the steel framework structure components, facility inspection corridors and LED lighting equipment, listening to the guide’s explanation while feeling fresh wind and hearing street noise coming up.

Outline of SKYTREE GALLERY

The TOKYO SKYTREE® 1F Group Floor will be renovated into a new exhibition area, SKYTREE GALLERY, on Tuesday, October 16, having fun information on tower structure and history.

The SKYTREE GALLERY shows valuable historical photos of the tower taken at the construction time. It also exhibits a life-size replica of the lightning rod used at the tower peak 634 meters high. The gallery is sure to help make visitors’ tour experience even more thrilling.

Free rental multi-language guiding devices will be available for international visitors participating in SKYTREE TERRACE TOURS.

The guiding device displays detailed text information on the tower structure, aerial view, lighting, and other tour-related information in English, Chinese (traditional and simplified), and Korean.
