The TOKYO SKYTREE managed by TOBU TOWER SKYTREE Co., Ltd. will revise the price for reservation of group tickets, either for general groups or for school activities, effective for tower visit on Monday, April 1, 2019 onwards. The detailed terms for group reservation will also be revised substantially, to make the tower experience even more convenient for group visitors.

In the management strategy, this price reduction is positioned as a means to maintain stable business of group tours when the entire travel industry is suffering from declining group tourism.

The price revision of reserved group tickets is the first one after the April 1, 2014 revision in response to the consumption tax rate change. This time, all ticket types, for adults to young children, in general group and school group will be reduced, with tickets for young children (4 to 5 years old) in general group becoming gratis. The price structure will beome even more attractive.

Revisions of group ticket reservation terms include i) a reduction of applicable group size to 10 members from 15; ii) the refund charge required only from 14 days, not 30, prior to the visit day; and iii) group bus parking becoming available for a maximum of 6 hours up from 3 hours. The new conditions, much easier and more affordable, will surely encourage the use of group visits.

The new price structure will start to be applied to the reservation made at 10:00 am, Monday, October 1, 2018 for a tour visit on or after Monday, April 1, 2019. The revised use conditions for reserved group tickets, except for prices, will be applied to tour groups visiting on or after Monday, October 1, 2018.
