Trustly, the pan-European FinTech company, today announces the appointment of Josef Darmark as Head of Product and Märta Viberg as Head of Consumer Risk. The additions of Josef and Märta will bolster Trustly’s innovative payments services and expand the company’s offering to a broad range of industries.
Josef Darmark has extensive experience in the merchant and payments space, having most recently worked for three years as Payment Project Manager within the Swedish multinational retail-clothing giant H&M, managing all payment methods on the company’s website during its launch across 12 new online markets. Prior to this, he spent four years working as Payment Director for European igaming and sports betting group Betsson in London and Malta. Josef graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. As Head of Product, Josef will be central in driving new payment innovation at Trustly.
Märta Viberg joins from Klarna Group where she spent the last four years working in the credit risk department, and most of that time as a member of the company’s risk management group, overseeing a team of credit risk analysts. Her responsibilities at Klarna included work on improving customer experience while also minimising credit losses. Märta graduated with a Master in Industrial Engineering and Management from The Institute of Technology at Linköping University. As Head of Consumer Risk, Märta will focus on driving conversion and enabling growth in current and new markets while overseeing risk management processes at Trustly.
Carl Wilsson, CEO of Trustly Group commented on the new hires saying, “Josef and Märta are perfect complements to Trustly’s existing team and are fundamental to our strategy to provide the most innovative and versatile e-payments solutions for e-commerce, p2p marketplaces, financial services and travel.
