Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez, Philippines, visited TSUNEISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES (CEBU), Inc. (THI; location: Buanoy, Balamban, Cebu, Philippines 6041; President and CEO Akihiko Mishima) on April 5, 2017. He gained a deeper understanding of THI’s contributions to the community since its establishment in 1994, including job creation in Balamban of Cebu Island and our support of educational and medical institutions. Secretary Dominguez showed strong interest in the shipbuilding industry during the factory tour, asking questions about ship prices and the time required to build a ship.

At the end of the tour, Secretary Dominguez expressed his gratitude for our past contributions to the Philippines and indicated that he was very impressed.

TSUNEISHI SHIPBUILDING marks its 100th anniversary in 2017. In this spirit, THI also intends to provide support to the community.
