The buzzer is divided into two types: Magnetic Buzzer and PiezoelectricBuzzer. The magneticbuzzer is driven by current and has a louder sound but consumes more power. The piezoelectric buzzer uses a semiconductor voltage to convert the ceramic magnet to vibrate and is driven by a voltage (ceramic magnet), which is more power-saving but has less sound.

Whether it is magnetic or piezoelectric, it is divided into two types according to its driving method, self-drivetype and external drive type.

Self-drive: Built-in drive circuit, need only DC power is required for operation.

External drive: No driving circuit inside, needs to add AC power and action signal to operate.
