Army Warfighting Experiment 17 – powered by Exonaut™

Throughout March, 4C Strategies has been deployed on Salisbury Plain supporting the British Army’s Warfighting Experiment 17 (AWE17). 4C Strategies Exonaut™ Software was selected as the Master Trial Management System for a month long field evaluation of multiple commercial products and solutions selected for AWE 17. 

4C Strategies formed an integral part of AWE17, which saw the evaluation of 80 novel technologies, offered up by Industry, as potential enhancements to the British Army’s operational and warfighting capabilities. All of the Army’s Trials and Development Units have been involved in the trial as well as members of the Royal Marines, RAF Regiment and US Army.

The integrated Exonaut™ software lay at the heart of the Design, Deliver and Exploit phases of the month long field trial. Exonaut™ supported the development the Data Collection Plan; the planning and synchronisation of tactical activities designed to test the performance of each product, and the capture of real time performance data including user feedback.

The combination of expertise from the British Army and Exonaut™ software solutions significantly enhanced the analytics of captured data, generated user defined reports and ensured maximum exploitation of all data collected throughout AWE17.
