Press release -

Develop:Brighton 2020 Speaker Submissions Now Open

Tuesday 14 January: Speaker submissions are now open for Develop:Brighton 2020, with organisers Tandem Events inviting game developers to submit their proposals by Wednesday February 19.

Develop:Brighton 2020 will take place at the Hilton Brighton Metropole from Tuesday 14 to Thursday 16 July, 2020.

“Every year we strive to deliver a diverse programme of sessions and roundtables covering interesting and insightful topics important to the video game industry,” said Tandem Events managing director Andy Lane.

“This year will be no different, and as ever we’ll be looking to host unique and thought-provoking talks presented by developers from small indies to AAA studios. My advice to anyone thinking of submitting would be to make it clear who your target audience is and what they’ll get out of your talk. Good luck!”

Proposals can be submitted at: www.developconference.com/call-for-speakers, where you can also find more information about the session tracks, tips on what makes a good submission and potential ideas for talks.

Last year’s conference welcomed a record 2,871 developers and hosted 129 speakers and more than 100 sessions across ten tracks, including keynotes from Hello Games’ Sean Murray, Media Molecule’s founders and Frontier Developments CEO David Braben.

Now in its 14th year, Develop:Brighton promises another busy, inspiring and fun-filled three days for the game dev community including insightful keynotes given by the best in the business, more roundtables due to popular demand and a three-day conference covering topics such as next gen development, discoverability, funding and developing for streaming and subscription services such as Apple Arcade.

There are also the usual opportunities for networking either formally via the meeting planner - Meet@Develop or in the Expo and at the many after hours social events including the Develop:Star Awards on the Wednesday evening.
