BIMobject welcomes Xella International’s BIM-specialist as a speaker on BIMobject® LIVe in Milan

The BIMobject® Team is proud to present Xella International’s BIM-specialist Markus Hesse as a speaker at BIMobject LIVe Worldwide Business Conference 2015 in Milan.

Markus Hesse takes care of International Product Management at Xella International in Duisburg, Germany. He is also responsible for the implementation of BIM in the company. In the past, Markus Hesse has attended the Civil Engineering Programs at the Technische Hochschule in Aachen as well as at the University of Birmingham with distinction. He has been employed by the Xella Group since 1998, and is focused on Project Management since 2006.

Markus Hesse became head of International Product Management last year. The Xella Group is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of building materials with almost 100 plants in 20 countries, and with a range of well-known brands like Ytong, Hebel, Silka, Fermacell and Multipor. Markus Hesse has worked intensively during the year with the launch of hundreds of BIM objects.

"We will work towards the goal of spreading our BIM objects around Europe, and also adding China and Mexico, until we have a worldwide BIMobject® solution." says Markus Hesse. “We believe that the traditional way of communicating and sending information will be replaced with data mining systems where BIMobject offer a good solution."

The BIMobject team are proud to have Markus Hesse as this years keynote speaker at BIMobject LIVe 2015. We’ll listen to his experiences regarding the BIM-implementation program at Xella, as well as hear his thoughts concerning the on-going changes in the construction industry.
