BIMscript™ Hackathon 2015 was a great success

The very first BIMscript™ Hackathon event hosted by BIMobject^® in Budapest, Hungary, was a great success. The participants were able to learn how to create parametric and intelligent BIM content in only a few hours.

Introducing the latest scripting language BIMscript™ and the Authoring App LENA, which can revolutionise the way the industry works as a whole, has been very exciting. The BIMobject Team would like to say a big thank you to the individuals and companies who attended the event.

“Presenting a community-based platform has been really cool. We've actually had people here who have had LIVE demonstrations for other attendees and it’s been very well received. A Revit Developer may not have the technical knowledge they need to create ArchiCAD content. With LENA and BIMscript™ being built on top of Rhinoceros’ robust modelling tools, we enable them to actually create content for other systems as well. Not only is it content, it's also parametric and intelligent BIM content, which is very unique,” says Ben O’Donnell, CTO at BIMobject.
